Choose Aerospace, Inc.

Choose Aerospace, Inc. is a partnership of aerospace stakeholders, managed by the Aviation Technician Education Council, joined together to address one of the biggest threats to continued industry growth: the availability of a diverse, qualified technical aerospace workforce. To that end, the objective of the Choose Aerospace curriculum is to expand aviation and technical training in secondary schools and provide multiple career paths to success within the industry.

The Clemson University Center for Workforce Development, or CUCWD, is a Commission on Higher Education-approved, statewide K-20 initiative to improve workforce educational capacity in STEM field across South Carolina.

EducateWorkforce

EducateWorkforce is an online learning solution offered with partnering 2-year colleges to help integrate web and digital solutions into their existing courses. The platform was designed by multiple instructional design, usability, and computing experts to include research-based learning features

​A primary objective for Choose Aerospace is to make aerospace career and technical training a priority in secondary schools and to provide multiple career paths to success within the industry. Given coronavirus impacts on aviation technical programs, and the expectation that schools will pursue more computer-based learning options moving forward, the organization is in search of partners to support development of standardized aviation technical curriculum.
